Top 4 Lippies

Lippy (noun) - Informal word for lipstick
I only need one lipstick, said no one ever.
I think I found my love for lippies about two years ago. I used to own one Mac lipstick and look what happened! Over the past few months, I've been purchasing different brands of lip products. Honestly, it was out of control! In this blog post, I will be sharing with you 4 of my favourite lippies.

The Face Shop
Real Gloss Vivid in Hug Coral
A little pop of colour hurts nobody. Suitable for many of my outfits since I most of my clothes are monochrome.  Love the application and texture (so buttery). Definitely had fun with this Korean brand lippy and I've used it on many occasions. On a side note, I've tried a couple of their Ink Lipquid and they are my absolute favourite apart from the weird taste.

Yves Saint Laurent
Rouge Volupte in Nude Beige
Let's tone it down a bit. I love me some nude colours and this lipstick is so buttery and easy on application. Love the packaging to bits and this is my classic and default to-go option on days when I just don't want to put too much effort.

Stila
Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina
People said that liquid lipstick can make your lips really dry. Not this one. The colours are opaque and it stays put even after a meal (Yes, I've tried). The colour is great for day-to-day especially for that slight touch of feminine.

KatVon D
Everlasting Liquid Lipstick in Damned
I told myself that I have to try Kat Von D's liquid lipstick ever since I scrolled my IG feed and saw the dark lip trend. I love how it gives a goth and dark vibe to my overall look however it can get really dry at the the end of the day. I found that I have to slightly overline my lips before I apply this colour just because it looks really weird on my thin lips.

Overall, my favourite lipstick will be YSL Rough Volupte in Nude Beige just because it is the most natural and versatile with many looks.
